We are excited to share the latest progress we've made on our PlanEat app over the past week.
As a team, we started planning our final movie that will showcase our app and it's functionality. We are debating between animation and film and are looking into both options but have already written a first draft for our script!
The developers have been hard at work building a Node.js server that will allow for the saving of data for every new event in the mongo database. This work is critical to ensuring that the app has a functional backend, and users can easily access and manage their events. Additionally, they are adjusting the application to work with the server, so that new events are automatically added to the database. The app's home page will pull data from the database based on a unique ID for each event, creating a seamless and intuitive experience for users.
Looking ahead, our development team will be focused on integrating API's and connecting with platforms like WhatsApp and ChatGPT. These integrations will help streamline the event planning process and provide users with a more intuitive and user-friendly experience.
Meanwhile, the design team was mainly engaged in improving and refining the microcopy of all the screens in the application, while continuing to focus on our goal in the overall experience of the application.
