The week started with a Speed Mentoring session, where we got to work with four different mentors from the industry. We presented our ideas as well as the process we went through, the need we found, our persona, and our solution to the mentors. The four mentors define themselves as:
● Galit Galperin - Product Consultant, Speaker, Learning & Development & Mentor
● Michal Olmert Naishtein - Executive Director, Global MBA Innovation & Entrepreneurship Track at Reichman University
● Omer Pomerantz- Consultant - Creativity, Innovation, Strategy
● Itai Preis- Entrepreneur
They asked us challenging questions and gave us feedback for things they believe we should keep and things we should improve. Some of these comments made us go back to our previous work and refine the user’s needs, the persona and the solution. We decided to focus solely on the organizer of the social event and use food as the focal point of the meeting to create interaction and encourage group formation.
The pains and challenges we want to solve for the organizer are frustration from a lack of response from the group combined with logistical support and guidance to make the organization and the transmission of messages to the other members of the group visually appealing and easy to use for them.
