Welcome back! This week in PlanEat's progress we worked on a few different vectors.
First and foremost, we finalized our script for our end of year movie! We plan to film different parts of it throughout the rest of the semester.
The developers have been working diligently on two critical areas: the database and the integration of WhatsApp into our app. In terms of the database, we have continued making progress towards connecting the app to the web interface to the database. This connection is vital as it allows for seamless storage and retrieval of user data, ensuring a robust and efficient user experience. While the work on the database connection is still ongoing, we are excited about the direction we are heading and the potential it holds for the app. The WhatsApp integration will enable the team lead of the event to invite their friends to the events they create and give them the platform to RSVP and sign up to bring items to the event. Lastly, we focused on updating the app's design to better align with the vision set forth by our designers.

With our focus on both backend development, including the database connection and WhatsApp integration, and the aesthetic enhancements driven by the updated design, we are confident that PlanEat will help update the way people plan and enjoy food-focused events.
